Condensing Information
I worked as a Show Producer on a 4-hour Dungeons and Dragons podcast. Part of my job was condensing each episode into a short written summary. I ensured the information was conveyed in a fun and easy way for consumers to understand. And I wanted to give new viewers an easy access point to the podcast.
Below is the first Crash Courses: A Summary of Tingles & Dragons. It’s a 5-minute summary of the first episode. I ensured that anybody new could jump in on the newest episodes without feeling lost and so that fans who were with us from the beginning could remember essential elements they might have forgotten.

Introducing You to Tingles & Dragons: Episode One
Hey, y’all! I’m Luna, I’ll be your host for this series: Crash Courses with Luna! I’m also ASMRPG: Tingles and Dragon’s Show Producer and a huge T&Darling!
Now, what is Tingles and Dragons, you ask? It is a Dungeons and Dragons podcast where the players are asmrtists, but nope, this doesn’t contain any ASMR.
I’m here to give y’all a crash course into this beautiful game, which from now on, we will call T&D, and to keep y’all updated on the team’s adventures!
Let’s start with a quick explanation of who’s who in the world of T&D!
We’ve got a great cast of voices starting with:
CardlinAudio plays Jedidiah Dorpe, a lovable Human Barbarian.
YuuriVoice, who plays Howell The Bastard, a half-elf fighter with commitment issues.
MorriganAudio plays Rowan the Bright, a tiefling druid who is all sass.
Shadowy Whispers plays Raegar the Koldhart, a half-orc fighter who’s read at least one book.
Madam Wigglesworth plays Alfyur Balsting a stubborn rogue halfling.
And, of course, we’ve got our amazing Dungeon Master, Sam, who’s been DMing for over 11 years.
Now that you’ve gotten to know Jed, Howell, Rowan, Raegar, and Alfy let’s cover Eldurin, the world that our team plays in! Eldurin is not a D&D canon universe but a universe created by our DM, Sam, about seven years ago. However, players already familiar with D&D may notice that some places like Waterdeep do show up!
Eldurin is still a young world with heavy influences of gods and the magic that is alive throughout the land. I look forward to guiding you through the vast mysteries of Eldurin and the stories Sam weaves.
Today I’ll only be covering Episode One!
Jed, Raegar, Rowan, Alfy, and Howell find themselves in a fishing town called Coresenth Falls! They meet a very cute little boy named Bunty who works at the front desk of an inn Raegar insisted they stay at for their well-known fish recipes! The team loves Bunty so much that they all decided that if they could, they would adopt him! Later that night, at dinner, the owner of the inn they are staying in tells the team that a lot of people have been going missing, especially children. People aren’t complaining because they are making an abundant living from a strangely large amount of fish coming through their rivers.
The following day the team wakes up to find a different child at the desk. Curious about where Bunty is, they ask: “where is Bunty?”. This new, different child looks at them in confusion and says there wasn’t a Bunty from last night.
Remembering their conversation with the owner of the inn and suspicious after being told Bunty doesn’t exist, the whole team decides to investigate what’s happening with the missing people. They start wandering around and end up at the docks of the town, where they meet a very creole-speaking Turtle man who tells the team how his wife went missing. This pushes the team to look deeper into the town’s mystery.
After some more exploring, the team ends up running into a very suspicious group of halflings that strikes a deal with the team. If they steal a box from the town’s mayor, who’s been acting very off, the halfing group will show the team where to find the source of the fish, which will also lead them to the missing people.
The team decides to take the deal and follows the halflings to a water nymph, who tells the team that she will speak to them in the depths of the water because she thinks the halflings are up to no good.
The team agrees and follows her down into the water and finds out there is a gorgon upriver, and the gorgon and the mayor have a strange deal going on. The Gorgon ensures the town will always have fish as long as the mayor delivers people to the gorgon.
When the team returns to land, they find that the halflings have disappeared. The team shrugs this off because they have more important matters at hand, and that is to save the missing people.
The team heads into town to investigate some more. Alfy even disguises herself as a child to find out what’s really going on. With her help, the team ends up following some of the mayor’s personal guards who took a child from the group Alfy was undercover in. They follow the guards all the way to an island on the river where the gorgon is waiting. Witnessing this exchange,
Jed gets so angry that he kills the gorgon for even trying to take a child.
Then the team goes back into town and rallies the townspeople to storm the mayor’s office!
When they get to the office, a huge fight happens, and Raegar gets the killing blow, cutting the mayor's head right off. He keeps it because he decides it’d be cool to have a skull for decoration. They also keep the mayor’s wand.
The team eventually finds the box the halflings asked for and discovers an acorn necklace! Rowan decides that it is a type of powerful divination magic, and as a team, they decide not to give this powerful magic to these unknown halflings.
We end Episode One with a promise that the team will be greatly celebrated at a festival Coresenth Falls holds, which opens tomorrow. What kind of shenanigans will the team get into next?
